“People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered. Love them anyway. If you do good, people may accuse you of selfish motives. Do good anyway. If you are successful, you may win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable. Be honest and transparent anyway. What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway. People who really want help may attack you if you help them. Help them anyway. Give the world the best you have and you may get hurt. Give the world your best anyway.” —(via eletheowl)

“I like quotes. When life sucks, quotes help.
They kind of remind us that somebody, at one point
felt the same way you do right now;
And that in some twisted way, you aren’t alone in your suffering.”

Setting my priorities straight.

Today’s Objective: to finish my midterm for Families in Welfare.

What I have Completed: Attaining all the necessary items to compose my Halloween costume.

This is what you get SOC 331, for saying that for each that we turn your midterm in late we get one point deducted… I am a confident writer… I can afford one point, but on the other hand Max (from where the wild things are) costume couldn’t wait. Now I am here trying to figure out how to supplement sewing for a hot glue gun, and wondering how the hell I am gonna pull off a onesie.
